Colour Systems: What's out there?
Here is my understanding of the various colour systems from the book. Will be adding more along the way as I figured that writing is a good way to sort out my thoughts;)
Agoston, G. A. (1987). Color Theory and Its Application in Art and Design. [electronic resource]. Berlin, Heidelberg : Springer Berlin Heidelberg : Imprint: Springer, 1987.
-CIE Colour Space, CIE(x, y, Y)
-CIELUV and CIELAB Colour Spaces
-Colour-Sample Systems
-The Munsell Colour Sytem
-The Colour Harmony Manual and the Ostwald Colour System
-The German Standard Colour Chart
-The Natural Colour System(NCS) and the Swedish Standards Colour Atlas
-Chroma Cosmos 5000 and Chromaton 707
-The OSA Uniform Colour Scales
It is also important to take note about the physical conditions when viewing at colours. It decides the way we perceive colours.
